Ljubljana

Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. The population is over 285,000. The area is 164 km/sq. (63 mi/sq.) North of the city rise the Alps. The surroundings of the city were settled as early as 2000 BC. The area is listed as: Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps. On the outskirts of the city there was a Roman military camp, which over time became a permanent settlement, called Emona, the place can be visited by a trail with information panels. Bled

Bled is a town at the foot of the Southern Limestone Alps. The population is over 5,000. The Slovenian-Austrian border is nearby. Bled is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Slovenia. The main attraction is Lake Bled, which has an area of ​​1.45 sq km (0.56 sq mi) and a depth of 29.5 meters (97 ft.) and Bled Island, on which stands a church built in Baroque and Gothic style. Kranj

Postojna Cave

Postojna Cave

The karst caves are located in the area of ​​the town of Postojna, after which they are named.
