Innsbruck city in the west of Austria. It is the capital of the state of Tyrol. With a population of 132,000, it is the fifth largest in the country. Innsbruck is relatively high, with an elevation of 574 meters (1,883 ft.) above sea level. The river Inn flows through here and the Alps rise around. The tourist attraction is the old town and the mountains. In the Old Town you can see Innsbruck Cathedral built in 1717-1724, Hofburg - former Habsburg Palace, Alpine Club Museum, Tyrolean State Museum, City Tower, Maria Theresien Street. The Tyrolean Alps are a great place for hiking, mountain biking in the summer and skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports in the winter. There are many ski resorts in the area. Due to the good conditions for winter sports, the Winter Olympic Games were held in Innsbruck twice in 1964 and 1976.
Kitzbuhel
Kitzbuhel is a historic town and a well-known Alpine resort in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The population is over 8,000. In winter, a large number of tourists come to Kitzbuhel to ski. Hall in Tirol
Hall in Tirol is a historic town in the Austrian state of Tyrol with approximately 14,500 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in 1232 and became one of the region’s wealthiest towns thanks to its important salt trade. In 1303, Hall received town privileges, strengthening its role as a commercial center. The beautifully preserved medieval old town features narrow streets, the Upper Square (Oberer Stadtplatz), the Gothic Parish Church of St. Nicholas, and the famous Mint Tower, home to the Hall Mint where the first thalers were produced. Bolzano
Bolzano is the largest city in South Tyrol. The population is around 110,000. Three-quarters speak Italian and a quarter German. The old town is full of medieval streets, arcades, squares and historic buildings. The dominant features include the Bolzano Cathedral (Maria Himmelfahrt), Bolzano Victory Monument, Franciscan Friary founded in 1221. Bolzano town hall. Bolzano is home to the university and Exhibition Bolzano. If you are planning a trip to Italy, Bolzano is an interesting tip and is not far from Innsbruck.
